Dr. Renata Yang is a graduate of Oregon Health and Sciences University and completed her General Psychiatry Residency and Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at OHSU. She has a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from OHSU and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is an attending psychiatrist at Providence Health Services and serves their partial hospitalization program, inpatient units and emergency departments. She is a consultant for the Oregon Medical Board and provides case reviews for licensees currently under investigation. She graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and spent 10 years working as a mechanical engineer before embarking on her career in psychiatry. She has maintained a private practice since 2020 and serves individuals struggling with complex psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, substance use disorders, trauma and co-occurring physical health issues. She employs a collaborative approach and integrates medication management with cognitive-behavioral, existential and motivational interviewing techniques. She is licensed to practice in Oregon, Washington and California.
